| Title : | Half term and rain |
The 76th half term of 2009 has started, giving the young minds of British society a break after a gruelling 3 weeks back at school, and so Michelle and Sarah have taken this week off work to spend some time with their children in an attempt to shape them into future astronauts, nuclear scientists, and............ dentists.
The highlight of the week was the ceiling above Maria's head starting to leak during a rain storm. After initial confusion over what the dripping sound was she let out a loud wail which was later described as "the sound Gollum made when he fell into the fires of Mordor". As we began moving all the important paperwork from her desk the dripping stopped. Unfortunately Wendy Lady (building receptionist and NGVFA volunteer) had already called a plumber who arrived, laughed at her, threw egg in her face, and then left.
NOTE: All work mentioned in the office blog is extra done on top of the essential task of providing members with the support needed on a day-to-day basis.
