| Title : | Corn on the Cob |
We had good media coverage this week with 3 radio stations, 1 newspaper, and 1 local news station all contacting us to arrange interviews with Veterans. They each focused around different situations and it was good to see that Veterans issues are still being given the airtime that they deserve.
The office almost broke the 30 degree heat mark on Monday morning thanks to the hottest few days that we have seen in Hull for some time. Every window was opened and every fan turned to max. Michelle Foster - Senior Admin Officer - said "In the 43 years I have been alive I've never known heat like that".
Hopefully the heat will stay high on both fronts over the coming months.
NOTE: All work mentioned in the office blog is extra done on top of the essential task of providing members with the support needed on a day-to-day basis.
