Title :  Yet Another Broken Promise for Ill Gulf War Veterans

Yet Another Broken Promise for Ill Gulf War Veterans
30th March 2010

Former MoD Chief of Staff 1990/91 Air Marshall the Lord Craig of Radley in the Friday 29th defence debate on ill Gulf War veterans refers to the "Prime Minister Gordon Brown's ...... personal and explicit promise to treat fairly those who been prepared to put their lives on the line"

NGVFA Comment: It is quite clear to all War veterans that this governments' promises to support and help those ill and injured from War are as untruthful as their own expenses claims. Gordon Browns' personal promise to Lord Craig of Radley and the ill veterans has yet again been spun over, by civil servant junior ministers brief, which leaves the question who is in charge, the MoD or Gordon Brown?

The debate on Friday the 29th March 2010 clearly shows a government waiting to go into parliamentary recess in April so it does not have to honour its promises.

It is a national disgrace what the MoD has done to loyal Gurkha soldiers, however when you look at what MoD and government has done to those servicemen born and bred of this nation it can only beggar belief.

Three times and you're out: Lied about Iraq, Lied about the Gurkhas, Lied about ill Gulf War veterans.
