Andrew Robathan MP has been appointed to the post of Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Defence Personnel, Welfare and Veterans) within the coalition Government.

Robathan's new role is the most senior post in the Government specifically looking at Veterans Issues, and he will lead on: Approach to Service personnel and civil servants, and The wider service family, including Reserves, Cadets, Veterans and families.

Robathan spent 15 years as an Officer in the Coldstream Guards and is the first ex-forces Defence Minister of any kind for around 13 years. If you would like to contact him his details are:
